Built in 1970 and designed by celebrated architect Goodwin Steinberg, this mid-century modern estate had remained virtually untouched for decades. Book-matched walnut paneling meets brutalist stone columns between floor-to-ceiling storefront windows and doors—an unexpected masterpiece that feels like stepping into a time capsule. While restoring architectural elements and finishes nearing the end of their lifespans, we replaced dark tile floors with Italian marble, thoroughly refreshed the primary suite, and most substantially, reimagined the segmented service spaces as a spacious, open kitchen and family room, breathing new life into the home for the next generation.
