Villa Senza Lago

Inspired by a family's travels through Italy, this residence honors the volumes, textures, and details of Renaissance villas while embracing the owners' relaxed California lifestyle. The design explores the creative tension between these two distinct notions of home—one rooted in Old World grandeur, the other in West Coast ease. A talented group of artisans and craftspeople collaborated with the design team and builder to transform our vision into reality.
